In June 1993, a consortium led by Shanghai International Securities Company Limited (“SISCO”) acquired OHHK and renamed OHHK as Shanghai International (H.K.) Limited (“SIHK”). In July 1996, SISCO merged with Shanghai Shenyin Secuirities Company to establish Shenyin & Wanguo Securities Company Limited (“Shenyin & Wanguo”). Subsequently after the merger, SIHK changed its name to Shenyin Wanguo (H.K.) Limited (the “Company”) in November 1996.
